UGREEN Photos app flickering/glitching when resizing window (DXP4800 Pro, 8GB RAM)

I installed my UGREEN DXP4800 Pro two days ago with:

4 × WD Red Plus 8TB
8GB RAM
latest firmware available

I uploaded a small photo library and the system has been generating/rebuilding thumbnails quite heavily because many photos initially failed to generate previews.

Now I’m seeing a strange issue in the Photos app (Albums tab): when I resize the browser window, the entire UI flickers/flashes heavily, almost like the interface is constantly rerendering itself or struggling with memory/GPU acceleration.

I attached a video of the issue (blurred for privacy).

I'm using a Macbook Pro M1 Max with 64GB Ram.

The issue appears on the UGREEN NAS app, not with the browser.

Has anyone else experienced this with UGREEN Photos?
Is this a known software/frontend issue or could it indicate a deeper hardware/storage problem?

hmm normaly the Desktop app use the standard browser-rendering-engine its a part of the Electron-framework. i dont know why there should be glitches but not in the browser.

Greetings from Hamburg, Germany.

I watched the Video. It is flickering like a Window is overlaid and not filled and switched back again.

It is first the lower quarter of the Foto-App-Window, then it goes to the half and then to 3/4th.

Furthermore, it seems to me as a redraw delay of some kind, like V-Sync in Games, where the content is not synchronized and draw too early or too late.

I have no clue about the Apple-Bytes at all, but maybe the Electron-App is running out of synch of the Screen refresh?

Maybe you can check if the whole UGreen-NAS-App is running with all cores or is somehow?

Is there a setting to use Hardware-Acceleration for the Bare-Metal-GPU? Can you make sure there is no screen recorder Workning in the Background?

I have no more guesswork to do, so I refuse to give more uniformed and untested hints, just for the sake of it, somehow, I think …
