Shee ich auch so. Sowas muss einwandfrei funktionieren. Ein Fehler ist ein Fehler, sowas kann auf Dauer nicht gut gehen.
Wenn man sich da so sicher ist, dann sollen sie einen Vertrag unterschreiben bei dem sie die Haftung mit Geld bzw Gutschein für eine professionelle Datenrettung beurkunden. Dann kann man drüber reden (wird aber keiner machen).

bernd_bdie angesammelten 30 Seiten könnte man - aus heutiger Sicht - auf ein paar wenige zusammenfassen. Von daher, bei so viel Input kann auch schon mal was unter den Tisch fallen. 
anaNAS Bei mir tritt das Problem auf beiden Platten auf. Den Ugreen SMART-Test kann ich nicht durchführen, da der NAS irgendwann einfriert und nur durch Strom entfernen neu startet. Das gleiche passiert auch, wenn ich große Datenmengen übertrage. Anschließend ist im Log der besagte Fehler zu sehen.

DEN würde ich nicht durchführen, macht nur Stress für die HDD. Besser per SSH auf das NAS einloggen und per Terminal die Werte ermitteln.

gibt es bereits Kompatibilität Erfahrungen was das Zusammenspiel vom NAS Ugreen DXP2800 und den WD120EFGX Platten angeht? Ich habe diese im Zuge vom Black friday bestellt allerdings mit einer ordentlichen Lieferzeit so dass die Platten erst im Januar ankommen werden. Das NAS habe ich bereits erhalten. In der Kompatibilitätsliste im Forum bin ich leider nicht fündig geworden oder betrifft das Problem mittlerweile sämtliche WD RED Festplatten, dann würde ich diese stornieren und auf die 8TB Ironwolf von Seagate ausweichen, wäre nur schade um die verlorenen 4TB und den guten Preis inkl. Cashback für die WD Platten aber wenn diese Probleme machen bringt es ja am Ende auch nichts.
Bin dankbar für eure Rückmeldungen.
Die exakte HDD steht nicht in der Liste, aber ähnliche Serie (KFBX/KFGX) als tauglich. Wenn du sicher gehen willst, Support anschreiben und bei Restzweifel Seagate.

Ich wollte kurz mal wieder ein Update teilen.
Seitens Ugreen ist die Situation mit den EFPX Platten leider unverändert.
Ich hatte ja vor knapp einem Monat auf die WD Gold gewechselt. Diese liefen bis jetzt absolut sauber. Fehlermeldungen waren endlich weg und ich zufrieden. Diese Woche bekam ich meine Seagate Ironwolf, welche ich nun in Slot 2 gesteckt hatte.
Der Ugreen Support gab mir ja die Info, dass wenn ich das Volume begrenze, ich später von 10TB Platten auf 8TB wechseln kann. Leider ist das nicht der Fall. Ich musste wieder alles neu Aufsetzen. Ging aber schnell.
Nun läuft eine 10TB WD Gold in Slot 1 und eine 8TB Seagate Ironwolf in Slot 2 , auch schon seit 3 Tagen ohne Probleme.
Ich werd das Setup nun wahrscheinlich auch so belassen.
Eine WD Red Plus hatte ich ja an WD für einen Austausch zurückgesendet. Die Festplatte kam vor knapp 3 Wochen bei WD an. Seitdem leider wieder Funkstille. Ich bekam nur letzte Woche ein kurzes Mail es gibt Verzögerungen und sie melden sich. Das wars.
Gott sei Dank bin ich aktuell nicht auf die Festplatte angewiesen, aber das find ich wieder mal einen sehr schlechten Service von WD.
Bin gespannt wann und ob ich einen Ersatz bekomme.
Hallo, bitte könnte jemand sagen, ob dies wirklich nur den zweiten HDD Slot betrifft?
Habe hier noch alles OVP: das Ugreen 2800 und WD RED Plus 8TB Platten WD80EFPX sowie eine 2TB 990 PRO NVMe. Funktioniert dies, wenn ich nur den 1. Slot mit einer WD Red Plus bestücke und den zweiten später oder mit einem anderen Typ? Möchte das ungern auspacken und probieren... Vertraue bei HDDs primär WD und bei SSDs Samsung. Danke!
Ich würde es garnicht erst ausprobieren.
Ich bin auch schon immer WD Nutzer, aber in diesem Fall würde ich die Seagates in jedem Fall vorziehen. Qualitativ sind diese bestimmt nicht schlechter.
Hi everyone, sorry for writing in english, I am not a german speaker, I am french.
I also have a DXP2800, which I initially set up with 2 WD disks:
Those 2 disks were working fine in my previous Synology DS218+ AND they also worked fine in the DXP2800.
Then I wanted to replace the 6TB with a new WD80EFPX and of course I ran into the errors discussed in this topic.
I am not running UGOS, I use TrueNAS scale 25.10.
I switched disk 1 and disk 2, errors were mostly on slot 2 (CRC errors, UDMA...) but I also got errors on the slot 1, not during boot but on heavy usage.
I now removed the WD80EFPX from the nas and put back my 6TB and everything is back in order.
I believe the issue is a poor sata card in the DXP2800, maybe a cheap design with not all filtering components for the power supply of the disk or something like that.
Then the communication between the disk and the card does not go well and the card malfunction, for both slots but mainly on slot 2.
Whatever the reason, do not use these WD disks in the DXP2800.
I would not wait for a software fix, I think that the best they can implement would be a workaround.

Exchange the WD-HDD or use it as an external backup medium and buy Seagate, for example, check https://ugreen-forum.de/kompatibilitaet/

I will keep using my 6TB for now and use the new 8TB in my backup DS218+
I now know that the disk is not listed in the compatibility list but every decent SATA drive should work, list or not.
The fact that one WD80EFPX causes errors on the slot 2 of the card, whether this disk is plugged in slot 1 or 2 is a clear sign that this card is bad.
Issues with one disk should not impact the other disk.
With your experiences, open a ticket at UGREEN and tell them all about it. I'm curious about the answer.

Sorry but I can not afford to spend this much time, I am sure Ugreen knows exactly what is the issue and they will hopefully take that into account for the next models.
In the meantime either stay clear of the dxp2800 or be aware of that and chose your drives carefully.
I think, at least they know where they have to start. UGREEN does not need realy on a user to create this test state in order to deliver the logs. I assume that UGREEN has now carried out enough tests, evaluated logs and has at least come across the same facts. So its not nessesary any more to do their Work as a User.

johnraid, there will be no solution so far, otherwise it would have already been posted here in the forum (be it about the upcoming firmware update or the administration of the forum would have become active). Sorry... isso. So either the 2800 back or buy Seagate or Toshiba
Habe seit Anbeginn meiner 2800 (Ende November) folgende HDDs bis dato ohne jeglichen Fehler laufen:
Slot 1: WD WDC80EFBX-68AZZN0 Red Plus
Slot 2: Seagate ST6000VN0033-2EE110 Iron Wolf
Die WD verhält sich absolut unauffällig in Slot 1. Da ich den Thread zu Anbeginn des Kaufes schon gesehen habe, habe ich für meine WD direkt Slot 1 genommen.
